Mark Lawrenson tells Liverpool FC supporters when to judge Alisson Becker
The Liverpool FC legend believes Alisson Becker needs more experience in the Premier League before he can be judged

Mark Lawrenson admits it will be difficult to judge Alisson Becker until the Liverpool FC goalkeeper is “smashed” for the first time.
The Reds signed the Brazil international in a £67m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma in the summer transfer window.
Alisson’s addition was hailed by Liverpool FC supporters having watched number one Loris Karius struggle in the Champions League final.
The German goalkeeper made two big mistakes in Liverpool FC’s 3-1 loss to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool FC were heavily linked with a swoop to sign Alisson but a deal seemed difficult given los Blancos were also reported to be interested.
However, Alisson moved in a big money deal and kept a clean sheet on his debut in a 4-0 win over West Ham United at Anfield.
The Reds shot stopper received a sterner test in a 2-0 win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday night.
While Alisson has made a promising start, former Liverpool FC defender Lawrenson is reserving judgement on the South American.
“He is a very good. We have to be careful,” Lawrenson told Newstalk.
“He hasn’t been smashed yet. Let’s see how he reacts to that. It’s very important.”
Liverpool FC haven’t won the Premier League title but finished in second place in 2002, 2009 and 2014 under three different managers.
The Reds have finished in the top four in the last two seasons under former Borussia Dortmund head coach Jurgen Klopp.
