Pepe Reina sends Liverpool FC message to Alisson Becker
Former Liverpool FC goalkeeper Pepe Reina congratulates Alisson Becker on 20 clean sheets this season

Pepe Reina has sent a message to Liverpool FC number one Alisson Becker after the Brazilian kept his 20th clean sheet in Friday night’s 5-0 victory over Huddersfield Town at Anfield.
The Brazil international wasn’t troubled during the Premier League clash as goals from Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Naby Keita sealed a comfortable win for the Reds.
Liverpool FC have the best defensive record in the Premier League after conceding a mere 22 goals in 36 games this season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have made big improvements to their defence over the past 12 months thanks in part to Virgil van Dijk’s arrival.
However, Alisson has been another key figure in their new-found defensive rigidity after the former AS Roma shot-stopper replaced Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet as the club’s undisputed first-choice goalkeeper.
His clean sheet in Friday night’s 5-0 win saw Alisson become the fifth goalkeeper to earn 20 shut-outs in a season, following in the footsteps of Peter Schmeichel, Pepe Reina, Petr Cech and Edwin van der Sar.
Former Liverpool FC goalkeeper Reina sent a message to Alisson on Twitter after the Merseyside outfit’s resounding win over Huddersfield.
Reina wrote on Twitter: “Congrats @Alissonbecker and @LFC!! Let’s keep it up for a couple more 💪🏻 Fantastic on his first season !!”
Liverpool FC will take on La Liga giants FC Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday night.
