Jurgen Klopp told Liverpool FC signing will prove difference in title race
Liverpool FC will run Manchester City close in the title race if Alisson Becker performs well, according to Chris Sutton

Liverpool FC can run Manchester City close if Alisson Becker performs well this season, Chris Sutton has claimed.
The Reds made Alisson the most expensive goalkeeper in the world when Liverpool FC spent £67m on the AS Roma shot stopper.
Chelsea FC have since eclipsed that fee with the £71m addition of Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Alisson kept a clean sheet on his Liverpool FC debut in a 4-0 win over West Ham United at Anfield on Saturday evening.
The 25-year-old was one of Serie A’s top goalkeepers last season after Alisson replaced Wojciech Szczesny in the Roman side.
Former Chelsea FC striker Sutton believes Alisson will help Liverpool FC to challenge Manchester City for the title.
“If Alisson has a big season, Liverpool can run Man City close,” Sutton told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“Liverpool are the next strongest squad and they know how to beat Man City.”
The Reds signed AS Monaco star Fabinho, RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita and Stoke City playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri.
Liverpool FC were 4-0 winners against the Hammers courtesy of goals from Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturridge.
The Merseyside outfit haven’t won the Premier League title but finished in 2002, 2009 and 2014.
