Craig Bellamy: What’s confusing about 23-year-old Liverpool FC star
The former Liverpool FC striker admits he still doesn't know Emre Can's best position

Craig Bellamy has admitted that he still doesn’t know where Emre Can should play in the Liverpool FC team.
The Germany international has established himself as one of Liverpool FC’s most versatile players over the past three seasons.
Indeed, Can has been used at centre-half, wing-back and central midfielder under Brendan Rodgers and Jurgen Klopp.
The current Liverpool FC boss has tended to use Can in midfield, in a holding role or in as a box-to-box player.
Can has entered the final 12 months of his Liverpool FC contract to open up the possibility of the Reds losing their German star on a free transfer next summer.
The 23-year-old has scored two goals and has made two assists in 18 appearances in all competitions this season.
However, former Liverpool FC striker Bellamy admits he is still unsure about what position suits Can the best in the Reds team.
”Can isn’t an out and out defensive midfielder,” Bellamy told Sky Sports.
“I don’t quite know where Can’s best position is. I do like Can as a footballer. If he can gain that discipline and he is very good on the ball, it could be a good position for him.”
Can moved to Liverpool FC in an £8.75m deal from Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen in the 2014 summer transfer window.
The Reds finished in fourth place in the Premier League last term thanks in part to Can’s performances.
