Georginio Wijnaldum sets out Liverpool FC targets for 2018-19 season
The Liverpool FC star is optimistic that the Reds can do something special this season

Georginio Wijnaldum says there is a feeling amongst the Liverpool FC squad that they can do something special this season.
The Reds are second favourites to win the Premier League title in the 2018-19 campaign following an exciting summer of transfers.
Liverpool FC bolsted their midfield with the additions of AS Monaco star Fabinho and RB Leipzig’s Guinea international Naby Keita.
Jurgen Klopp added more variety to his attack following Xherdan Shaqiri’s £13.5m deal from Stoke City after the Potters were demoted to the Championship.
Liverpool FC signed AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker to replace Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet in goal for Klopp’s side.
The Reds laid down a marker with a 4-0 win against West Ham United thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Daniel Sturridge.
Wijnaldum is feeling confident that Liverpool FC can challenge for the Premier League title this season.
“We feel that we can do something special,” Wijnaldum is quoted as saying by the Daily Star. “We felt it last year also.
“But feeling is one thing, doing it is the second one. I think we have the quality to compete with them but I also thought we had the quality last season.
“If City’s going to play like they did last season then it will be really hard because they only lost two games and a few draws.
“If you want to compete with them you can barely drop points.”
Liverpool FC haven’t won the English top flight crown since 1990 when Sir Kenny Dalglish was still in charge of the Anfield outfit.
The Reds finished in second place in the Premier League table in 2002, 2009 and 2014 under three different managers.
Klopp won successive Bundesliga titles in 2011 and 2012 before Borussia Dortmund lost to Bayern Munich in the Champions League final.
