Jamie Redknapp predicts where Liverpool FC will finish this season
The Liverpool FC legend is tipping the Reds can challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title

Jamie Redknapp believes Liverpool FC should believe that the Reds can challenge defending Premier League champions Manchester City this season.
The Merseyside outfit finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.
The Reds finished 30 points adrift of Premier League title holders Manchester City to highlight the gap between the title rivals.
However, Liverpool FC did manage to reach the Champions League final before a 3-1 loss to La Liga giants Real Madrid in Kiev.
Jurgen Klopp has already signed AS Monaco star Fabinho, RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita and Stoke City playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri this summer.
The Reds paid a world record transfer fee for a goalkeeper to sign Alisson Becker in a £67m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma last month.
Former Liverpool FC captain Redknapp believes the Reds are capable of challenging for the Premier League title.
“There’s no point in going into a season not thinking you can win, being unhappy and moaning, having a poor pre-season – a bit like what’s happening at Manchester United,” Redknapp told Sky Sports’ The Debate.
“In Klopp, I’m looking at a manager who fancies his chances this year. They did a number on Man City in three of the four games they played and they’ve got a goalkeeper.”
Liverpool FC will start the new Premier League campaign with a home clash against West Ham United at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds are still waiting to win their first trophy under Klopp after the German head coach took over the reins from Brendan Rodgers in October 2015.
