Jurgen Klopp sends message to Liverpool FC supporters after 4-0 win over FC Barcelona
Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp pays tribute to the club's supporters after their incredible 4-0 win over FC Barcelona on Tuesday night

Jurgen Klopp hailed the club’s “big heart” after Tuesday night’s 4-0 victory over FC Barcelona to seal their place in the Champions League final.
The Merseyside outfit seemed to be all but out of the tie following FC Barcelona’s 3-0 victory over Liverpool FC in the first leg of their semi-final at Camp Nou.
However, Divock Origi broke the deadlock in the seventh minute to give the home side some early momentum but FC Barcelona managed to keep Liverpool FC at bay until half-time.
Netherlands international Georginio Wijnaldum replaced Andy Robertson at half-time and the former Newcastle midfielder scored two quick-fire goals to give Liverpool FC a 3-0 lead.
Klopp’s men secured a lead for the first time in the tie when Origi scored his second of the night thanks to some quick thinking by Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The Liverpool FC manager and his squad celebrated a famous European night with the club’s supporters after a final whistle after the Reds reach successive Champions League finals.
Speaking at his media conference about the Liverpool FC supporters, Klopp said:
“We know this club is the mix of atmosphere, emotion, desire and football quality. Cut off one and it doesn’t work – we know that.
“I’ve said it before. If I have to describe this club then it’s a big heart and tonight it was obviously like crazy, pounding like crazy. You could hear it and probably feel it all over the world.
“I’m so happy we could give the people this experience and I’m really happy about having another chance to get things right from our point of view.”
Liverpool FC are in second place in the Premier League table and a point adrift of defending champions Manchester City with one game left to play this term.
