Jurgen Klopp has warned his Liverpool FC team that the trip to Burnley will be “really tricky”.

The Merseyside outfit are sitting at the top of the Premier League table following three successive top-flight victories.

Liverpool FC were 3-1 winners against Arsenal at Anfield thanks to Joel Matip’s opener and Mohamed Salah’s two goals in the second half.

The Reds have scored nine goals and have conceded three times in the 2019-20 Premier League season so far.

The 18-time English champions set a new club record after their 12th successive Premier League victory on Saturday evening.

Klopp’s side will be hoping to make it win number 13 when Liverpool FC make the trip to Burnley in the top flight next Saturday.

Speaking at his post-match media conference at Anfield, Klopp warned the Reds about a difficult trip to Burnley.

“We enjoyed a lot the opportunity to have a week of training,” said Klopp.

“We will have another week of training and then we go to a very difficult place, to Burnley. I couldn’t have more respect for what they are doing there.

“I will have the opportunity to watch them tomorrow but it will still be different because Burnley at home are another level, so it will be really tricky.”

Klopp added: “We have a week to prepare for it and we have a week to prepare for pretty much the rest of the season because I’ve said it often enough, three games a week means you recover, try to squeeze a couple of minutes out of a session to do some tactical stuff to prepare for the opponent, do set-pieces and then go again. That’s it.

“In this week it was completely different, we liked that and now we have another week like this and I am looking forward to it.”

Liverpool FC were 3-1 winners against Burnley at Turf Moor last term after a dramatic end to the Premier League clash.

The Reds’ 3-1 win back in November 2018 came at a cost after they lost Joe Gomez to injury for five months.

Gomez could line up against Sean Dyche’s side at Turf Moor next weekend.

Liverpool FC finished in second place in the Premier League table last term.
