Wayne Rooney sends message to Liverpool FC fans about Jurgen Klopp
Former Man United star Wayne Rooney admits every player would love to play for Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp

Wayne Rooney says every player would love to work with Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds manager is about to start his fourth full season in charge of the Merseyside outfit after the German head coach finally delivered his first major trophy.
Liverpool FC had lost to Manchester City in the League Cup final and Sevilla in the Europa League final in the 2015-16 before Real Madrid beat Klopp’s side 3-1 in the Champions League showpiece in 2018.
However, the Merseyside outfit got their revenge at the start of June after Liverpool FC were 2-0 winners against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final.
Klopp’s men were unfortunate to miss out on a first Premier League title after Liverpool FC finished with 97 points but a point adrift of champions Manchester City.
Former Manchester United striker Rooney, who worked under Sir Alex Ferguson, David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho during his career, admitted that he would have enjoyed being coached by Klopp.
“Jurgen is a manager every player would love playing for,” Rooney told SportBild.
“You can see how much fun his players have playing under him.
“I met him once, he is an amazing guy.”
Liverpool FC have been quiet in the summer transfer window so far.
The Reds have only signed 17-year-old Dutch defender Sepp van den Berg in a £1.6m deal from FC Twolle.
Liverpool FC have finished in second place in the Premier League table on four different occasions.
