Roy Keane sends blunt warning to Jurgen Klopp about Liverpool FC defence
The Man United legend believes Liverpool FC's defence could well be exposed in the Champions League last 16

Roy Keane has warned Jurgen Klopp that Liverpool FC’s defence will be exposed when the Reds face better Champions League club in the knockout stage.
The Merseyside outfit were impressive 7-0 winners against Russian side Spartak Moscow in the Champions League last 16 on Wednesday night.
The 18-time English champions booked their place in the knockout stage thanks to Philippe Coutinho’s hat-trick, Sadio Mane’s brace and goals from Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool were 7-0 winners against Spartak Moscow and Maribor during the group stage as Jurgen Klopp’s men finished with 23 goals in six group-stage games.
The Reds conceded six times following a 1-1 draw with Spartak in Moscow in October and 2-2 and 3-3 draws with Sevilla at Anfield and Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.
Liverpool FC have conceded 19 times in 15 games in the Premier League this term to raise questions about Klopp’s defence following their failure to sign a new centre-half in the summer.
Former Manchester United captain Keane warned Klopp that Liverpool FC will face much sterner examinations of the their defence in the knockout stage of the competition.
“It was a lovely night for Liverpool and you can only beat what is in front of you, but take a step back and you realise there are so many bigger tests in front of them,” Keane told ITV Sport.
“Against the bigger teams, they will be tested at the back.”
