Liverpool FC will not allow striker to leave in January transfer window – report
Liverpool FC do not intend to let Daniel Sturridge leave the club in January, according to reports

Liverpool FC will not allow Daniel Sturridge to leave Anfield in the January transfer window, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Reds will instead allow Danny Ings to exit the Merseyside outfit on a loan deal until the end of the season in the new year.
And that is reportedly going to scupper Sturridge’s hopes of sealing a move away from Anfield in a bid to gain some regular first-team playing time ahead of the World Cup.
The same report says that Sturridge is “desperate” to play and force his way into Gareth Southgate’s thoughts for next summer’s World Cup in Russia.
The 28-year-old striker has found his first-team opportunities at Anfield to be significantly restricted this season, with the forward having only started five of Liverpool FC’s 18 Premier League games so far.
The story says that Liverpool FC would rate Sturridge at being worth around £30m, but they do not intend to listen to offers for the forward until next summer.
Sturridge has around 18 months left on his current contract with the Merseyside outfit and it remains to be seen how the rest of the season will pan out for the striker.
