Jurgen Klopp: I am convinced 24-year-old will be Liverpool FC success
The Liverpool FC boss believes Loris Karius will prove his quality at Anfield despite a slow start

Jurgen Klopp has issued his backing for Liverpool FC goalkeeper Loris Karius.
The Reds boss has made Karius his first-choice goalkeeper at Anfield despite an uncertain start to his Premier League career.
Liverpool FC signed the Germany international in a £4.7m deal from Bundesliga outfit Mainz 05 in the 2016 summer transfer window.
However, Karius failed to make a first-team spot his own and Klopp reverted back to Simon Mignolet in the second half of the 2016-17 season.
The Belgium international started the current campaign as their first-choice goalkeeper before Klopp dropped Mignolet in December.
Karius has impressed in the Liverpool FC team since being restored to the Reds side and produced a brilliant save in Saturday’s 2-0 win over Newcastle United.
The Merseyside outfit have been linked with a potential swoop to sign AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson and Stoke City shot stopper in recent months.
However, the Liverpool FC manager was keen to underline his faith in Karius ahead of Saturday’s trip to Manchester United in the Premier League.
“We are convinced about the player. That’s why we signed him,” Klopp told BT Sport.
“We know something is to come because of the quality he showed so far. And we signed him because of the potential we see for him in the future.
“For this moment, it’s a good situation.”
Liverpool FC are in third place in the Premier League table and two points adrift of Manchester United in the race to finish in runners-up spot behind leaders Manchester City.
