Michael Owen sends message to Liverpool FC about blip under Jurgen Klopp
The Liverpool FC legend believes the Reds are finally over their blip

Michael Owen believes Liverpool FC have recovered from their recent blip to build some momentum in both the Champions League and the Premier League.
The Reds endured a difficult September and October to lose significant ground on their title and top-four rivals to heap pressure on Jurgen Klopp.
However, Liverpool FC have managed to respond in both competitions to secure their place in the Champions League last 16 and hoist themselves into fourth place.
Indeed, the Merseyside outfit are unbeaten in seven Premier League games since a 4-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley back in September.
Liverpool FC have scored 20 times and have conceded just four goals in their last seven outings in the English top flight.
The Reds booked their place in their place in the Champions League last-16 draw thanks to a 7-0 win over Spartak Moscow at Anfield last week.
Klopp’s side were left frustrated in the Merseyside derby after Wayne Rooney’s late penalty cancelled out Mohamed Salah’s 14th goal of the Premier League season.
But former Liverpool FC striker Owen believes Klopp’s men are finally over their blip following a difficult month or so.
“In the last eight or nine games, Liverpool have been brilliant,” Owen told BT Sport. “It’s been a continuous run of scoring lots of goals and playing really well. It looks like they’re over that blip now.”
Liverpool FC will take on 2004 champions FC Porto in the Champions League last 16 as the Reds look to win the competition for the first time since 2005.
