What Mo Salah said to James Milner after Liverpool FC’s 4-0 win over FC Barcelona
Mo Salah asks James Milner a question in the Liverpool FC dressing room after Tuesday night's 4-0 victory over FC Barcelona
Mo Salah was caught on camera asking James Milner if he had already made holiday plans after Liverpool FC reached the Champions League final on Tuesday night.
The Reds looked to be heading out of the European Cup following a 3-0 loss to FC Barcelona in the first leg of their semi-final following goals from Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi last week.
The Merseyside outfit were without the Premier League’s leading goal-scorer Salah and his strike partner Roberto Firmino for the second leg after the pair suffered injuries.
Liverpool FC made the breakthrough in the seventh minute when Divock Origi scored a close-range finish to give the home side some momentum as they sought to complete an incredible comeback.
FC Barcelona rallied after Origi’s goal and the Spanish champions managed to keep Jurgen Klopp’s side at bay until half-time when Georginio Wijnaldum replaced injured Andy Robertson.
The Netherlands international scored two quick-fire goals in the opening 11 minutes of the second half to level the tie on aggregate.
And Origi, who was drafted in as one of the replacements for Firmino and Salah, scored the winning goal to complete Liverpool FC’s comeback.
Liverpool FC’s social media team gave fans an intriguing glimpse into the dressing room following one of the greatest European nights in the club’s history.
And Salah was caught on camera asking Milner if he had already booked his summer holidays after their first-leg defeat last week.
“Have you planned to go on holiday?” Salah appeared to ask Milner.
Liverpool FC will take on Wolves in their final Premier League game on Sunday with the title on the line.
