Juventus sent scouts to watch Mohamed Salah in Liverpool FC’s 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening, according to a report in England.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Serie A title holders had representatives at Anfield to keep tabs on the Egypt international.

The same article states that Salah was one of three targets that Juventus watched on Merseyside along with Christian Eriksen and Heung-min Son.

According to the same story, Juve’s priority was watching Denmark international Christian Eriksen.

The Daily Mirror go on to suggest that Salah would cost a significant sum, given that the African forward’s current deal at Anfield isn’t set to run out until 2023.

Salah started his career in Europe with Swiss side Basel before he completed a move to Chelsea FC in 2013.

However, the Egypt star struggled to have an impact at Stamford Bridge.

Salah went on loan to Fiorentina where he impressed for 12 months before AS Roma signed the Chelsea FC flop in 2015.

Liverpool FC agreed a £39m fee with Roma to sign Salah two year later.

The Egyptian forward has finished as the Premier League’s top goal-scorer in the last two seasons, although he shared the accolade last term with team-mate Sadio Mane and Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Liverpool FC are sitting six points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
