Ian Wright raves about new Liverpool FC signing: He’s absolute dynamite
Arsenal legend Ian Wright raves about new Liverpool FC signing Naby Keita

Ian Wright has lavished praise on new Liverpool FC signing Naby Keita.
The Guinea international moved to Liverpool FC in a £48m deal from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig back at the start of July.
Liverpool FC supporters were forced to wait 12 months to see Keita in a red shirt after the Merseyside outfit agreed a fee with the German club last summer.
Keita has taken on the burden of wearing the number eight shirt, which was last occupied by club legend Steven Gerrard.
The summer signing produced an impressive debut performance in Liverpool FC’s 4-0 win against West Ham United at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
Keita played a key role in Mohamed Salah’s opening goal and the box-to-box midfielder finished with a pass completion of 89 per cent.
Former Arsenal striker Wright was impressed with Keita’s impact on Jurgen Klopp’s team on his debut in front of the Kop.
“Jurgen Klopp was so desperate to sign Naby Keita for Liverpool that he slapped down the deposit 12 months ago and was prepared to wait a year before he had him in a red shirt,” Wright told The Sun.
“On Sunday you could see exactly why, because this guy was absolute dynamite. The positions he took up, his distribution, tackling and strength, everything was top drawer.
“You won’t win Player of the Year on one performance, but as markers go it could hardly have been more impressive.”
Liverpool FC signed Brazilian Fabinho in a £39m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in June to further bolster their midfield options.
The Reds recruited Switzerland international Xherdan Shaqiri in a cut price £13.5m deal from relegated Stoke City in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool FC haven’t won the Premier League title but finished in second place in 2002, 2009 and 2014.
