Jurgen Klopp rates Naby Keita’s Liverpool FC debut
The Liverpool FC manager was thrilled with Naby Keita's debut in a 4-0 win over West Ham

Jurgen Klopp has described Liverpool FC signing Naby Keita as a “quite a nice footballer”.
The Reds brought in Keita in a £48m deal from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig last summer after Liverpool FC agreed a transfer fee with the German club last summer.
Liverpool FC handed the Guinea international the number eight shirt to follow in the footsteps of club legend Steven Gerrard.
Keita made his debut in the Merseyside outfit’s 4-0 win against West Ham United courtesy of goals from Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Daniel Sturridge.
The African star played a key role in the build up to Salah’s opening goal of the 2018-19 Premier League season.
Keita made two successful dribbles and completed 89 per cent of his attempted passes during their rout of West Ham.
Speaking to Liverpool FC’s website about Keita’s impressive debut at Anfield on Sunday, Klopp said:
“Naby had six weeks’ pre-season with us. Together with Millie and Gini, they had all of the pre-season. That’s really good.
“You saw that helped a lot and helped him; organisation always helps. And in the moments when he gets the ball, you can see he is quite a nice footballer.”
Keita scored 17 goals in 71 games during two seasons at German club RB Leipzig following an £11m move from Red Bull Salzburg.
Liverpool FC finished the opening weekend of the Premier League season at the top of the table on goal difference.
The Reds signed AS Monaco midfielder Fabinho, Stoke City forward Xherdan Shaqiri and AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker this summer.
