Naby Keita looks like a fabulous addition to the Liverpool FC team, Pat Nevin has claimed.
The Reds finally added Keita to Jurgen Klopp’s squad from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig in the 2018 summer transfer window.
Liverpool FC supporters were forced to wait 12 months to see Keita in a red shirt after the Merseyside outfit agreed a fee with the German club last summer.
However, Keita delivered on his debut wearing the number eight shirt made famous by Steven Gerrard in the Premier League era at the Anfield outfit.
The Guinea international played a big part in Mohamed Salah’s opening goal as Liverpool FC eased to a resounding 4-0 victory over West Ham United.
Former Chelsea FC star Nevin believes Keita is the right man to improve the Liverpool FC midfield for the coming Premier League campaign.
“They have found the one,” Nevin told Irish radio station Newstalk. “The midfield is sorted now. He looks absolutely fabulous. His timing of his passing.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season to ensure their continued participation in the Champions League.
The Reds will make the trip to Crystal Palace in their next Premier League fixture on Monday night.
