Liverpool are yet to make an official bid to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig, according to reports.
ESPN is reporting that the Merseyside outfit have not yet made an official approach to the German team about the 22-year-old midfielder, despite having been linked with a big-money swoop in recent days.
The same report states that as of Friday morning, the Reds have still not tabled an offer to bring the midfielder to Anfield.
The Guinea international has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in recent days, with the Reds said to be ready to splash a huge transfer fee on trying to lure him to Merseyside this summer.
However, it would seem that Liverpool are yet to make their interest in signing Keita this summer from RB Leipzig official.
Keita was a key player for RB Leipzig last season and scored eight goals and made seven assists in 31 Bundesliga games last term.
Liverpool are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new players this summer as the Reds prepare for their return to the Champions League next season.
The Merseyside outfit finished fourth in the Premier League last season in Jurgen Klopp’s first full campaign in charge.
