Ian Wright: Liverpool FC have the Premier League’s best ‘nine and a half’
The Arsenal legend talks up Liverpool FC forward Roberto Firmino as the Premier League's best false nine

Roberto Firmino is the best false nine in the Premier League, according to Ian Wright.
The Brazil international has been utilised at the top of the Liverpool team under Jurgen Klopp this season.
Firmino has thrived alongside Liverpool trio Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah in the current campaign.
The South American has scored six goals and has made three assists in 17 appearances in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old forward scored twice in Liverpool FC’s 5-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion earlier this month.
Firmino netted in the Reds’ 4-0 win against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium in the Premier League last weekend.
Former Arsenal striker Wright believes Firmino is the best “nine and a half” in the Premier League.
“Firmino is the best nine and a half,” Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“He exploits space his team-mates make. He comes late.
“Defenders don’t know how to pick him up. He plays it perfectly.”
Firmino scored 11 times in 35 games in the Premier League last season to help Liverpool FC secure a fourth-placed finish and a Champions League spot.
Liverpool FC will take on La Liga giants Sevilla in the Champions League last 16 in February.
The Brazilian forward completed a move to Liverpool FC from Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim in the 2015 summer transfer window.
