Jordan Henderson admits Chelsea FC spell helped Mohamed Salah shine at Liverpool FC
The Liverpool FC captain believed Mohamed Salah's stint at Chelsea FC helped the Egyptian to shine at Anfield

Jordan Henderson believes Mohamed Salah’s brief spell at Chelsea FC helped the summer signing hit the ground running at Liverpool FC.
The Egypt international moved to Liverpool FC in a £39m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma in the 2017 summer transfer window.
The winger struggled to impress during an eight-month stint at Chelsea FC before he moved on loan to Fiorentina and AS Roma.
Salah has scored 23 goals in 28 games in the Premier League this season after the 25-year-old found the net in a 4-1 win against West Ham United at Anfield.
The African forward has netted a staggering 31 goals in all competitions in his debut campaign at the Merseyside outfit.
However, Liverpool FC captain Henderson believes Chelsea FC played a big role in helping to prepare Salah for his second stint in the Premier League.
“Mo has been incredible,” Henderson is quoted as saying by the Daily Express.
“I think playing in the Premier League before with Chelsea helped him because he knew what to expect of the physical demands in English football.”
Salah will be hoping to continue his prolific run when Liverpool FC welcome Newcastle United in the Premier League at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
The African forward is one goal behind Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in the Premier League’s goal-scoring charts.
Liverpool FC are in third place in the Premier League table and two points adrift of Manchester United.
