Steven Gerrard is confident that Mohamed Salah will only get better at Liverpool FC.
The Egypt international moved to Liverpool FC in a £39m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma in the summer transfer window.
Salah has hit the ground running at the 18-time English champions despite concerns about his ability to adapt to the Premier League.
The 25-year-old struggled during an eight-month stint at Chelsea FC in 2014 before his move to Serie A.
The African scored his 24th Premier League goal of the 2017-18 season thanks to his opener in a 2-0 win against Newcastle United at Anfield on Saturday evening.
Salah has now netted 32 times in 38 outings all competitions this season to hoist himself to the top of the European goal-scoring charts.
Former Liverpool FC captain Gerrard believes Salah has plenty of room for improvement at the Anfield outfit.
“He’s going to get better,” Gerrard told BT Sport.
“There’s no doubt about it, if he keeps making those runs, his finishing quality is there for everyone to see and he’s just going to get more goals.”
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term to secure a return to the Champions League after a two-season absence.
The Reds have all but secured their place in the Champions League quarter-finals after a 5-0 win at Porto in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash.
Liverpool FC are looking to win the competition for the first time since 2005.
