Liverpool FC sent stark warning about top 25-year-old
Paul Merson explains why he thinks Liverpool FC are going to struggle without the injured Sadio Mane

Paul Merson has warned Liverpool that the Reds are set to struggle without Sadio Mane in the next few weeks.
The Senegal international has been ruled out of action for some time after suffering a hamstring injury while on international duty.
Mane has developed into one of Liverpool’s key players since his arrival at the club from Southampton, and he has earned a reputation as one of the Reds’ top attacking threats.
It remains to be seen exactly how long Mane will be out of action for but he is expected to miss the next few weeks at least.
And former Arsenal star Merson believes that’s not good news for Liverpool at all.
Speaking on Sky Sports News on Friday morning, Merson said: “With no Sadio Mane I think they’re going to struggle now.
“I think Mane is a massive player for Liverpool. His pace, his directness… he can do something out of nothing and stretches the game.”
Liverpool return to Champions League action on Tuesday night when they take on Maribor looking for their first group stage victory of the season so far.
The Reds secured their spot in Europe’s elite club competition thanks to their fourth-placed finish under Jurgen Klopp last season.
Liverpool will be aiming to challenge for the Premier League title this season after the Reds finished in fourth place last season as Klopp looks to guide the Merseyside outfit to title glory.
