Ian Wright predicts where Liverpool FC, Man United will finish this season
The Arsenal legend believes Manchester United will finish above Liverpool FC in the Premier League this term

Ian Wright believes Manchester United will finish above Liverpool in second place if the Red Devils can replicate their performance in a 2-1 win at Chelsea FC last weekend.
Jose Mourinho’s side welcomed the defending Premier League champions to Old Trafford after two losses in their last three top-flight games at Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.
Romelu Lukaku and Jesse Lingard overturned Willian’s opener to secure a vital three points to hoist Manchester United above Liverpool FC into second place.
The Red Devils are two points ahead of Jurgen Klopp’s side ahead of their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday 10 March.
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place and two spots above Manchester United in the English top-flight table last term.
However, former Arsenal striker Wright suggested that Manchester United will finish above Liverpool FC if the Red Devils can produce performances like their display against Chelsea FC.
Asked whether Liverpool FC or Manchester United will finish in second place, Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live: “They both have similar run-ins. If Man United can continue to play the way they did against Chelsea…”
Manchester United have only managed to finish in the Premier League top four once since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.
Liverpool FC are looking to secure successive top-four finishes after Klopp secured a Champions League spot in his first full season at Anfield.
Manchester United secured a stalemate at Liverpool FC back in October.
