Alan Smith predicts where Liverpool FC are going to finish
Alan Smith is tipping Liverpool FC to finish in second place in the Premier League table this season

Alan Smith believes that Liverpool FC are set to finish in second place in the Premier League table this season.
The Reds are looking to mount a serious Premier League title challenge this term as they bid to try and establish themselves as one of the main contenders for the trophy.
Liverpool FC kicked off their top-flight campaign with an impressive performance as they notched up a 4-0 thrashing of West Ham United at Anfield in their opener last weekend.
Jurgen Klopp has been tasked with steering Liverpool FC up the table this season, with the Reds still looking to win their first major trophy under the German manager.
The Reds were busy in the summer transfer window as they brought in Naby Keita, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson Becker ahead of the new season.
And Smith feels that the Reds are well placed to finish second this term after their summer recruitment drive.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Smith said: “With the signings Liverpool have made, Naby Keita and Alisson being the big ones, and the weaknesses they have addressed – with them now appearing to have a quality ‘keeper – it should take them to second.”
Liverpool FC will return to Premier League action on Monday night when they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The Reds will be aiming to challenge for trophies on multiple fronts this season as they bid to win some silverware under Klopp.
