Alisson Becker has promised Liverpool FC fans that he will continue to take risks in front of goal if it will give his side an attacking edge.

The Brazilian goalkeeper has been settling in well to life at Anfield after having signed for the Merseyside outfit from AS Roma in the summer transfer window.

Alisson has helped Liverpool FC to keep three clean sheets in the Reds’ opening three games in the Premier League this season against West Ham, Crystal Palace and Brighton and Hove Albion.

The shot-stopper has earned something of a reputation for his impressive skills with the ball at his feet.

And despite the risky nature of his play from the back, the goalkeeper insists that he will continue in the same vein as long as he feels he is helping the team.

Speaking in an interview with LFC TV, Alisson said: “I try my best to help the team in the build-up.

“If sometimes there is a situation where there is dribbling, I do it carefully.

“It could be too risky, but it’s part of the game, we are a team that plays from the back with the ball on the ground. That’s part of the team’s characteristics. Mistakes may happen, but we work hard during the week to do everything correctly during the matches.”

Alisson will be aiming to try and help Liverpool FC keep a clean sheet when the Reds return to Premier League action on Saturday lunchtime with a trip to Leicester City.

The Reds are currently top of the Premier League table following their impressive start to the new campaign under Jurgen Klopp.
