Andy Robertson raves about ‘brilliant’ Liverpool FC signing
Andy Robertson praises Alisson Becker for the strong impact he has had at Liverpool FC since his move to the club

Andy Robertson has admitted that he has been thrilled by the impact that Alisson Becker has had since his move to Liverpool FC this summer.
The Brazilian goalkeeper signed for the Reds from AS Roma in the summer transfer window as Jurgen Klopp moved quickly to bolster his options between the posts ahead of the new campaign.
Liverpool FC were on the lookout for a new goalkeeper after Loris Karius’ Champions League final nightmare back in May.
Alisson has been in fine form for the Reds since his move to Anfield and is yet to concede a goal in the Premier League, with Liverpool FC having notched up successive wins against West Ham, Crystal Palace and Brighton and Hove Albion.
And Liverpool FC defender Robertson has been delighted by what he has seen from Alisson since his move to the Merseyside outfit.
Speaking to Liverpool FC’s website, Robertson said: “He’s been brilliant since he came in. It’s no disrespect to Loz [Loris Karius] or Si [Mignolet], but he’s been brilliant since he came in and I’m sure the lads said the same with the other ‘keepers when they first came in,” the left-back told Liverpoolfc.com.
“He’s a real presence at the back, you can see him coming out for corners and crosses and you’ve seen his wee chip got applause from the crowd, but I’m not sure if the gaffer wants to see that too many times!”
Alisson will be hoping to help Liverpool FC keep another clean sheet when they take on Leicester City in the Premier League next weekend.
The Reds are aiming to challenge for the Premier League title this season after having finished in fourth place and without a trophy under Klopp last term.
