Journalist gives update on Liverpool FC’s link to signing Arsenal star
Liverpool FC are not currently interested in signing Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal this summer, say reports

Liverpool FC are not currently interested in signing Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal this summer, according to reporter James Pearce.
The midfielder’s situation at Arsenal has been something of a source of speculation this summer because his current contract with the north London side is due to expire at the end of next season.
Liverpool FC have been credited with an interest in signing the Wales international this summer before the transfer window closes on 9 August.
However, Liverpool Echo journalist Pearce has confirmed that the Reds are not currently interested in landing Ramsey as far as he knows.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, Pearce said: “Not aware of any interest in Ramsey.
“There’s bound to be a lot of speculation about him as he’s down to the final year of his contract but Liverpool are currently well stocked in that department.”
Liverpool FC have already been pretty busy in the summer transfer window so far as Jurgen Klopp looks to win his first major trophy at Anfield.
The Reds have brought in Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri, Fabinho and Alisson Becker ahead of next season.
Liverpool FC finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season and reached the Champions League final, but the Reds are still aiming to lift their first piece of silverware under their German manager.
Liverpool FC will take on West Ham in their Premier League opener next weekend.
