Jamie Carragher raves about Liverpool FC star ahead of FC Porto clash
Jamie Carragher explains why he has been so impressed by Mohamed Salah's form for Liverpool FC this season

Jamie Carragher has heaped yet more praise on Mohamed Salah following his brilliant performances for Liverpool FC – but admits he is unlikely to have such a good season again.
The Egypt international has been in stunning form for the Reds this season following his transfer to Merseyside from AS Roma in the summer window last year.
Ahead of this weekend’s round of Premier League fixtures, Salah had scored 23 goals and made eight assists in the Premier League to help Jurgen Klopp’s men to continue to challenge for a top-four finish.
Salah has also netted six goals and made one assist in the Champions League for the Reds this season, and his sparkling form has been a major positive for the Merseyside outfit.
And Liverpool FC legend Carragher has admitted that he has been delighted by the attacker’s brilliant displays for the Reds so far this season.
Speaking to the Telegraph, Carragher said: “Injury permitting, we can state with authority this will not be a one-season wonder.
“I would not go so far to predict 30-goal campaign every year, but he will always be pushing the 20-mark because he has the traits of a poacher.
“Salah is unlikely to have another year like this, a season in which he has elevated himself to global status – not just with his club performances – but with the penalty that took Egypt to the World Cup, the pressure of 96 million compatriots on his shoulders.
“He is ticking all the boxes when it comes to assessing who has stood out most in English football.”
Salah will be expecting to feature for Liverpool FC when the Reds take on FC Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday night in the return leg of their last 16 clash. The Merseyside outfit won the first leg 5-0 to all but secure their place in the quarter-finals.
