Chris Sutton discusses Mohamed Salah's brilliant start to life at Liverpool FC this season

Chris Sutton has admitted that Mohamed Salah’s stunning Liverpool FC form has shocked everyone and is backing him to win the PFA player of the year award this season.
The Egypt international has rightly been earning rave reviews since his move to Liverpool FC from AS Roma last summer following his incredible run of form this season.
Salah has scored 28 goals in the Premier League this season to help Liverpool FC up into third place in the table as they seek a top-four finish for the second campaign running.
The 25-year-old has also scored six times in the Champions League to help Liverpool FC reach the quarter-finals and set up a clash against Manchester City.
Former striker Sutton has been hugely impressed by Salah’s form and believes that he is the clear favourite to win the PFA award this term.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, Sutton said: “The impact he has made… There were question marks about him. How he has responded this season at Liverpool is incredible. No one saw this coming.”
He added: “It has to be Salah for player of the year. Just on volume of goals. It is unbelievable.”
Salah will be hoping to feature for Liverpool FC when the Reds return to Premier League action after the international break with a trip to Crystal Palace.
The Merseyside outfit are currently in third place in the table as they look to try and overtake second-placed Manchester United before the end of the season.
