Ex-striker explains why he loves watching Liverpool FC so much
Pat Nevin raves about Liverpool FC and their exciting brand of football under Jurgen Klopp at Anfield
Chris Sutton has admitted that he is a huge admirer of Liverpool FC and the attacking football they play.
The Reds have earned a reputation as one of the Premier League’s most exciting teams to watch as they continue to evolve under Jurgen Klopp’s guidance at Anfield.
Liverpool FC’s attacking players such as Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino are amongst the most exciting in the Premier League and the Reds were in fine form as they beat Southampton 2-0 at St Mary’s last weekend.
The Reds are aiming to try and finish in the top four under Jurgen Klopp once again this season and also challenge for the Champions League trophy.
And former Chelsea FC star Sutton admits that he has become a huge admirer of the way the Reds go about their business under their German manager.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 live, Nevin said: “I love watching Liverpool. They excite me. They give it their all in games.”
Despite Liverpool FC’s impressive attacking football, the Reds are still waiting to win their first trophy since Klopp’s appointment at Anfield back in October 2015.
Klopp, who was brought in as Brendan Rodgers’ successor, led the Reds to a top-four finish in the Premier League last season as they secured qualification for this season’s Champions League.
