Liverpool FC set to keep hold of 28-year-old striker – report
Liverpool FC are set to keep hold of Daniel Sturridge for next season, according to reports

Liverpool FC are set to keep hold of Daniel Sturridge and risk losing him on a free transfer next summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Liverpool Echo is claiming that Jurgen Klopp has decided to hold on to the 28-year-old forward despite the fact that he is out of contract next summer.
The same report claims that Sturridge looked as though he would be on his way out of Liverpool FC this summer after having endured an injury plagued spell at West Brom on loan last season.
However, the story says that Sturridge has impressed Liverpool FC boss Klopp with his determination and attitude so far in pre-season training, and the German manager has now chosen to keep hold of him.
Sturridge has scored 63 goals in 133 games for Liverpool FC but he has struggled with form and fitness issues in recent campaigns.
Liverpool FC are thought to still be on the lookout for some potential new signings this summer as Klopp looks to assemble a team capable of winning the Premier League next season.
The Reds finished in fourth place in the table last term as they also ended up losing the Champions League final to Real Madrid.
