Departing striker sends classy message to Liverpool FC
Danny Ings sends a classy message to Liverpool FC after his move from Southampton was confirmed

Danny Ings has paid tribute to Liverpool FC after his transfer to Southampton was confirmed on Thursday.
The striker had been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield all summer due to his stuttering form for the Reds under Jurgen Klopp in recent seasons.
Ings scored four goals in a total of 25 appearances for the Reds after having struggled for both form and fitness for the Merseyside outfit since his move from Burnley back in 2015.
The forward will now be hoping to establish himself as a regular fixture in the first team at Southampton as the new season kicks off this weekend.
Ings has joined Southampton on a loan deal initially, but the transfer will be made permanent on 1 July 2019.
And the 26-year-old was quick to pay tribute to his former employers after the move was confirmed on transfer deadline day.
Ings wrote on his personal Instagram account: “I want to thank everybody at @liverpoolfc for welcoming me into the family and being there for me through the tough and the good times, I wish you all the success in the future and I’ll miss you all. YNWA.”
Meanwhile, Liverpool FC will kick off their new Premier League campaign when they take on West Ham United at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
