Fabinho has insisted that he has been enjoying getting used to life under Jurgen Klopp since his move to Liverpool FC this summer.
The Brazilian midfielder signed for the Merseyside outfit from Monaco in the summer transfer window as Klopp moved quickly to start bolstering his squad ahead of this season.
Fabinho featured in all nine of Liverpool FC’s pre-season friendlies but he was left on the bench for the Reds’ 4-0 win over West Ham United in their Premier League opener on Sunday.
The midfielder will now be hoping to hold down a more regular spot in the first team at Anfield as he bids to help Liverpool FC challenge for the Premier League title this season.
And Fabinho has insisted that he has been enjoying the start he has made to life at Liverpool FC as he bids to try and help the Merseyside outfit win their first trophy under Klopp.
Speaking in an interview quoted by Metro, Fabinho said: “I think my performances have been good.
“It’s a different playing style than at Monaco; there were two of us in midfield there and here at Liverpool there’s three.
“My midfield partners have given me guidance and assistance, as have the defence. I knew [my role] would change and I feel I’ve adapted well.
“You seek guidance and help from the players around you and that has worked really well up until now.”
Liverpool FC ended up in fourth place in the Premier League table last season and without a trophy after they were also beaten by Real Madrid in the Champions League final back in May.
