Liverpool FC look set to miss out on the signing of Nabil Fekir from Lyon this summer, according to reports in France.
French outlet L’Equipe, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that Fekir looks likely to stay at Lyon this summer despite the heavy speculation linking him with a move to Anfield.
Liverpool FC have been strongly linked with a move for Fekir this summer but the switch has so far failed to materialise despite him having been close to a transfer back in June.
According to the same story, the long-running saga is now over and the 25-year-old attacking midfielder is set to stay at the French club for at least another season.
Liverpool FC have been busy in the summer transfer market, with the Reds having brought in Fabinho, Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson Becker ahead of the new campaign.
Jurgen Klopp will be looking to guide Liverpool FC to a serious Premier League title challenge next season as the Reds look to win their first major trophy under the German boss.
The Merseyside outfit finished in fourth place in the Premier League last term and without a trophy after they were beaten by Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
