Graeme Souness lavishes praise on Roberto Firmino after his brilliant display in Liverpool FC's 4-0 win at West Brom

Graeme Souness lavished praise on Roberto Firmino after the Brazilian’s impressive performance in Liverpool FC’s 4-0 victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds bounced back to winning ways after back to back draws against Everton and West Brom hampered their Premier League form.
Philippe Coutinho opened the scoring in the first half, before Firmino brilliantly kept the ball in play and set up Dejan Lovren for Liverpool FC’s second goal.
Mohamed Salah continued his brilliant form by netting a third on the stroke of half-time to put the result beyond doubt.
And Firmino himself then got on the score-sheet in the second half as he helped the Reds to wrap up a comfortable victory at the Vitality Stadium.
Former Liverpool FC star Souness was clearly impressed by Firmino’s performance and especially his resilience in the lead-up to the second goal.
Speaking during Sky Sports‘ coverage of the game, Souness said: “Firmino is that sort of player – he never gives up on anything.
“That [keeping it in play for Dejan Lovren’s goal] is just a perfect example of how he plays football.
“The ball is never dead until the referee blows the whistle [for him].”
The win lifted the Merseyside outfit back up into fourth place in the Premier League table but still left them eight points behind leaders Manchester City.
The Reds will return to Premier League action when they take on Arsenal in a crunch top-four clash at The Emirates on Friday night.
