Liverpool FC are facing competition from a number of clubs for the signature of Ajax star Hakim Ziyech, according to reports in Portugal.
Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Reds are facing competition from the likes of Benfica, Roma, Lyon and Borussia Dortmund for the signature of the 25-year-old this summer.
The same report says that Liverpool FC have been linked with a move to sign Ziyech as they continue to look for a long-term replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who left to sign for FC Barcelona in the January transfer window.
However, it would appear that the Reds are going to face a battle for his signature this summer, with a host of other top clubs said to be keeping tabs on the playmaker.
According to the same story, Ajax could be set to sell Ziyech for less than his current release clause of €20m, which could alert a number of clubs.
Liverpool FC have already completed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Fabinho from Monaco this summer.
The Reds are aiming to bring in a number of new players this summer as they look to try and build a squad capable of winning the Premier League next season.
