James Milner replies to Liverpool FC title talk
James Milner insists that he and his Liverpool FC team-mates are not getting carried away by their position at the top of the table

James Milner has insisted that he and his Liverpool FC team-mates are not getting carried away by their position at the top of the Premier League table.
The Reds have made a solid start to the new campaign and made it three wins on the spin in the top flight on Saturday when they claimed a 1-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion at Anfield.
Liverpool FC are aiming to be one of the main contenders for the Premier League title this season, with the Reds having finished in fourth place and without a trophy last term.
The Merseyside outfit are currently top of the Premier League table after their solid start to the new campaign under Jurgen Klopp.
However, Milner has insisted that the Reds are not getting ahead of themselves as they look to try and mount a genuine title challenge this term.
Speaking in an interview with BT Sport, Milner said: “It’s never a bad place to be – but they’re early days and we just want to keep going and keep improving.
“We know from the first three games it’s a pleasing start but there’s a lot to improve on. That’s the good thing and there’s stuff we’ll be working on to become a better team.”
Liverpool FC are still looking to win their first trophy since Klopp’s appointment at Anfield back in 2015.
The Reds will return to Premier League action when they travel to Leicester City in the top flight on Saturday afternoon.
