Jamie Carragher raves about promising Liverpool FC teenager
Jamie Carragher heaps praise on Trent Alexander-Arnold after his goal in Liverpool FC's 5-0 win over Swansea

Jamie Carragher described Trent Alexander-Arnold as a “star in the making” after the teenager netted his first Premier League goal for Liverpool FC in Tuesday’s 5-0 thrashing of Swansea.
The 19-year-old fired his shot in off the crossbar as he netted Liverpool FC’s third goal against the Swans.
Philippe Coutinho had opened the scoring, before Roberto Firmino scored to make it 2-0.
Alexander-Arnold then rifled home an instinctive shot to make it 3-0 before goals from Firmino and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain wrapped up the thumping victory for the Reds.
The teenager is widely regarded as one of Liverpool FC’s most promising young players, and he has already made seven Premier League starts this season.
And former Liverpool FC defender Carragher is clearly expecting big things from him in the coming years.
Speaking during Sky Sports‘ coverage of Tuesday’s game, Carragher said: “He scored a great goal in Europe earlier this season. He reads the game.
“It was a one-touch finish. He just steps in. He got something on it.
“This kid has the makings of a star.”
Liverpool FC return to Premier League action on Saturday when they host Stoke City at Anfield.
The Reds will be aiming to at least match their fourth-placed finish in the Premier League from last season as they secured Champions League qualification in Jurgen Klopp’s first full season in charge at the club.
The Merseyside outfit will take on FC Porto in the last 16 of the Champions League in the new year.
