Jurgen Klopp confirms that Liverpool FC star Mo Salah is completely fit again after his shoulder injury
Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Liverpool FC star Mohamed Salah is completely fit again after his shoulder injury.
The Liverpool FC attacker was injured in the first half of the Reds’ 3-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League final back in May as his season was cut short.
Salah managed to make a recovery in time to feature for Egypt at this summer’s World Cup in Russia and he has now linked up with his Liverpool FC team-mates to prepare for the new season.
The Egypt international will be hoping to recreate some of his brilliant form for Liverpool FC last season this time around as he bids to help the Reds win their first major trophy under Klopp.
And the German manager has now confirmed that Salah is approaching full fitness as he looks to get himself back to his best form ahead of the new season.
Speaking in an interview with ESPN FC, Klopp said: “[Salah] is fit, he trains completely normal.
“From all medical departments, 100 per cent sure it’s all good, but of course, if you end up with the shoulder and there you feel it a bit, you need to get used to it again.
“So that’s all, but he’s fit and all the training sessions look good. He’s now in for 5 days with us and, before that, one-week training program full training program at home, so it’s all good.”
Liverpool FC ended up in fourth place in the Premier League table last season under Klopp.
The Reds will be looking to be one of the main contenders for the Premier League title next season as they look to try and win their first trophy under Klopp.
