Mohamed Salah opens up about his close relationship with Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp

Mohamed Salah has revealed that he regards Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp to be a close “friend”.
Salah has been earning huge amounts of praise for his strong performances for Liverpool FC this season since Klopp brought him to Anfield from AS Roma in the summer transfer window last year.
The 25-year-old has been in superb form, scoring 44 goals in all competitions to help the Reds secure a top-four finish in the Premier League.
Salah was also voted as the PFA player of the year as he helped the Reds to book their place in the Champions League final against Real Madrid this Saturday.
The Egypt international has clearly set himself apart as one of the signings of the season in the Premier League.
And the attacker has now opened up about his close relationship with Klopp as Liverpool FC prepare for their showdown with Real Madrid this weekend.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Salah said: “From the first day, we were friends – he treated me like a friend so we are very close to each other, but still he is the boss and I am the player.
“As a coach – as you can see – everyone knows him.”
Liverpool FC are still aiming to win their first trophy since Klopp’s appointment at Anfield back in October 2015.
The Reds are looking to prevent Real Madrid from becoming the first team to win the Champions League for three seasons running when they face the Spanish giants this weekend.
