Gary Neville Liverpool FC star used be one of the best, now he’s completely different
The Man United legend raises questions about Dejan Lovren's poor performances at Liverpool FC since his move from Southampton

Gary Neville has admitted that he is staggered by Dejan Lovren’s dramatic slump at Liverpool.
The Croatia international endured an embarrassing afternoon at Wembley after the Liverpool defender made two mistakes to allow Tottenham to ease into a 2-0 lead.
Lovren was substituted in the 32nd minute following a disastrous start to the Premier League clash as Jurgen Klopp opted to rejig his Liverpool defence at Wembley.
The Croatian defender moved Liverpool in a £25m deal from Southampton in the 2014 summer transfer window under Brendan Rodgers after forging a brilliant partnership with Jose Fonte at St Mary’s.
However, Lovren struggled to replicate his composed Southampton performances in a Liverpool shirt under Rodgers and then Klopp.
The Merseyside outfit have already conceded 16 times in nine games in the Premier League this term to leave Liverpool in ninth place in the table.
Former Manchester United defender Neville questioned why Lovren has struggled so badly at Liverpool given his brilliant start to the Premier League at Southampton.
“Under Pochettino at Southampton, he was one of the outstanding centre-halves in the league. I look at him now, he looks completely different,” Neville told Sky Sports.
Lovren initially improved under Klopp but the Croatian defender has digressed to raise serious questions about his future at Anfield.
Liverpool finished in fourth place last season to secure a return to the Champions League.
