Gary Neville admits he is a huge fan of unsung Liverpool star
Gary Neville reveals that he is a huge admirer of Liverpool FC midfielder Emre Can

Gary Neville has admitted that he is a huge admirer of Emre Can at Liverpool and told the Reds that they must keep hold of the Germany midfielder.
Can has been a regular fixture in the first team at Anfield since signing for the Reds from Bayer Leverkusen back in June 2014.
The 23-year-old Germany international has been in fine form so far this season and helped Jurgen Klopp’s men to claim all three points with a thumping 4-0 victory over Arsenal at Anfield on Sunday.
Liverpool are now second in the Premier League table after three games as they bid to try and challenge for the title in Klopp’s second full season in charge.
Can is believed to currently be in contract negotiations with Liverpool about extending his current deal at Anfield.
And former Manchester United defender Neville has talked up the importance of Can staying at Liverpool after admitting that he is a big fan of the midfielder.
Speaking on Sky Sports on Sunday, Neville said: “I have to say, after a year and a half [of seeing] Emre Can, I really do like him as a player.
“I think he’s a fantastic midfield player and he’ll only get better.
“I think he can do most things and the big thing about him is that he shows up in every single match.
“He always wants the ball, he shoots, he tackles, he picks up on set pieces.
“For someone who’s going to get better in the next two or three years, it’s important that they do keep him.”
Liverpool will return to Premier League action after the international break when the Reds take on Manchester City at The Etihad on Saturday 9 September.
It remains to be seen whether the Reds will sign any more players before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
