Jamie Carragher sends warning to Liverpool FC about Sadio Mane
The Liverpool FC legend admits Sadio Mane's hamstring problem is a huge blow to Jurgen Klopp

Jamie Carragher has warned Jurgen Klopp that Liverpool could struggle without Sadio Mane.
The 24-year-old attacker suffered a hamstring injury during Senegal’s 2-0 win against Cape Verde in the World Cup qualifier on Saturday evening.
African forward Mane jetted back to Liverpool on Monday to undergo an assessment from the Merseyside outfit’s medical staff.
Liverpool confirmed on Tuesday that Mane is set to miss up to six weeks with the hamstring problem to rule the winger out of Saturday’s clash against Manchester United.
The £30m forward is also set to be sidelined for games against top-four rivals Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in what represents a real blow to Liverpool’s ambitions for the season.
Mane was absent for two large spells last term due to his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations before a season-ending knee injury in the Merseyside derby in March.
Former Liverpool defender Carragher believes Mane will be a huge miss to Klopp’s side.
“Last season without him Liverpool fell apart at times. He adds goals, pace, assists,” Carragher told the Daily Telegraph.
Liverpool finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season to secure a return to the Champions League.
The Reds signed four players in the summer transfer window to improve their squad ahead of the return to Europe’s premier club competitions.
