Raphael Honigstein sends message to Liverpool about signing 22-year-old Bundesliga star
The Bundesliga expert suggest RB Leipzig aren't interested in selling Naby Keita to Liverpool in the summer transfer window

Raphael Honigstein believes Naby Keita’s £70m price tag suggest RB Leipzig don’t want to sell the midfielder to Liverpool this summer.
According to reports in the English media on Monday, the 18-time English champions are interested in signing the Senegal international in a club-record deal this summer.
Liverpool are thought to be willing to offer £50m to sign the African star despite coughing up £36.7m for AS Roma winger Mohamed Salah last week.
Bundesliga runners-up RB Leipzig, though, are holding out for a transfer fee in the region of £70m for the 22-year-old midfielder in the summer transfer window.
Keita scored eight goals and made seven assists in his first season in the Bundesliga as he helped the promoted side to finish in second place last term.
German football expert Honigstein believes RB Leipzig’s demands suggest the club don’t want to sell Keita this summer.
Honigstein wrote on his Twitter page: “my hunch is they mean exactly what they say. they’re asking crazy money because they don’t want to sell – not to achieve a good price.”
Liverpool finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last season.
The Reds have signed England Under-20 international Dominic Solanke and Roma winger Salah in the summer transfer window so far.
