Liverpool refuse to give up in bid to sign top 22-year-old – report
Liverpool are still aiming to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig this summer, according to reports

Liverpool are still aiming to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig this summer despite the German club’s insistence that he is not for sale, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Express is claiming that the German club have told Liverpool outright that the midfielder is not for sale this summer and that they have “hardened their stance” on the 22-year-old.
The same report states that Liverpool made contact with the German club last week but were told they have no intention of selling the Guinea international this summer.
The article states that Leipzig were “definitive” on the matter but that Liverpool are still going to press ahead in their attempts to try to sign Keita this summer.
The story also says that the player himself is thought to be keen on a transfer to Anfield this summer.
Liverpool have made two signings so far this summer but will be likely to add some more players to their squad following the captures of striker Dominic Solanke and winger Mohamed Salah.
The Reds are gearing up for a return to the Champions League next season after their fourth-placed finish last term.
