Liverpool tracking exciting 21-year-old attacker – report
Liverpool are keeping tabs on Max Meyer's progress at the European Under-21s tournament, according to reports

Liverpool are tracking Max Meyer’s progress at the European Under-21s tournament in Poland, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Star is claiming that the Reds are keeping tabs on the young German’s performances during the tournament, with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp a long-term admirer of the 21-year-old.
The same story claims that Liverpool originally saw Meyer as a possible alternative to winger Mohamed Salah, who signed for the Reds last week.
However, the article states that the Reds could still be open to making a move to bring the attacking midfielder to Anfield this summer because Klopp is a big fan of the youngster.
Meyer only has one year remaining on his current deal with Schalke, meaning that clubs could land him for a reduced fee as the German side consider cashing in rather than risk losing him on a free next summer.
The story also states that Arsenal and Bayern Munich are among the other clubs thought to be interested in signing Meyer this summer.
Liverpool are thought to be on the lookout for a number of signings this summer as Klopp prepares his team for a return to the Champions League next season.
