Top 25-year-old defender sets his sights on Liverpool summer move – report
Virgil van Dijk is still hoping to secure a move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to reports in England

Virgil van Dijk has set his sights on completing a summer move to Liverpool, according to reports in the English media.
The Sun is reporting that the Netherlands international is still hoping to secure a summer switch to the Anfield outfit from EFL Cup runners-up Southampton.
The same article states that the Merseyside club have retained an interest in the former Celtic defender despite the possibility of upsetting the Saints – again.
Liverpool were forced to publicly withdraw from the race to sign the 25-year-old earlier this month after the Reds issued a humiliating statement apologising to the Saints for the pursuit of Van Dijk.
However, there are still suggestions that the Merseyside could still manage to get a deal over the line to sign the Dutch defender this summer, while Premier League champions Chelsea are thought to monitoring the talented centre-half.
On Tuesday, Southampton executive Les Reed warned Chelsea and Liverpool that Van Dijk is not for sale in the summer transfer window.
The Netherlands international moved to Southampton in an £11m deal from SPL champions Southampton in 2015.
