Liverpool FC won’t sack Jurgen Klopp, insists Mark Lawrenson
The Liverpool FC legend doesn't expect the Reds owners to lose patience with Jurgen Klopp any time soon

Mark Lawrenson has ruled out the possibility of Liverpool sacking Jurgen Klopp in the near future.
The Reds are in eighth place in the Premier League table and nine points adrift of leaders Manchester City.
Klopp celebrated his two-year anniversary in the Liverpool hot seat following Brendan Rodgers’s dismissal back in October 2015.
Liverpool have only managed to win three games in the Premier League this term to raise questions about their progress under Klopp.
The Reds boss signed Roma winger Mohamed Salah, Chelsea teenager Dominic Solanke, Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Hull City defender Andy Robertson.
However, the Liverpool squad hasn’t kicked on despite the summer of investment.
Former Liverpool defender Lawrenson doesn’t expect Klopp to receive the sack or even be under pressure at the Anfield outfit.
“Absolutely no chance [will Klopp be sacked]. The manager isn’t under any pressure from FSG. He got them into the Champions League last year. They’ll improve,” Lawrenson told BBC Radio 5 Live.
Liverpool finished in fourth place in the Premier League table above Arsenal and Manchester United last term.
The Reds will make the trip to Tottenham Hotspur in their next Premier League game at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool signed four players in the summer transfer window.
