Stephane Henchoz predicts where Liverpool FC will finish this season

Stephane Henchoz admits that he can’t see Liverpool finishing in the Premier League’s top four this season.
The Reds have made something of a stuttering start to the new season under Jurgen Klopp as they look to try and mount a serious title challenge this term.
The Merseyside outfit have only won three of their opening seven games to leave Klopp’s men seventh in the table and seven points behind leaders Manchester City after seven games of the new campaign.
Liverpool earned plenty of praise for their form last season as they secured a top four finish and a return to the Champions League.
However, the Reds have been criticised for their defensive frailties this term, with Klopp’s men having conceded more goals than any of the other teams above them in the table.
And former Liverpool defender Henchoz admits that he can’t envisage the Reds finishing in the top four if their stuttering form continues.
Henchoz told BBC Sport: “The way it is at the moment, they have absolutely no chance of competing for the title.
“They would be more than happy to finish in the top four, but if they carry on the way they are conceding goals, I can’t see them finishing in the top four unfortunately.”
Liverpool will aim to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they take on Manchester United in their next game at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds were held to a 1-1 draw by Newcastle United in their most recent outing before the international break.
